Thomas Archer married Hester Drake 1774 in Painswick, but their children were all, bar one, baptised in Brimpsfield. Thomas died in Brimpsfield in 1825 at the age of 80. This gives a year of birth c1745 but I cannot find a baptism for him anywhere. He is not the Thomas Archer baptised Stow on the Wold 1746 as I have followed him through to his death, also in Stow on the Wold.
Thomas and Hester's first born would appear to be a Daniel born, according to age at death, in 1775 but his baptism isn't coming up either. If anyone can help find Thomas and/or Daniel, I'd be very grateful.
Thanks,

I think I have just discovered why I missed it. The Bishop's Transcripts for Painswick can be viewed on Familysearch and I can find the 1738 baptism and burial for Thomas son of Eliz. There is no entry in December 1741 for Thomas Archer. I am wondering if a transcriber has got something wrong somewher along the line as it is interesting that there is a burial for a Thomas Archer son of Eliz. 20 December 1738 and a baptism for Thomas Archer son of Eliz. also on 20 December two years later.

Looking at the original Painswick Records on Ancestry - 1706 to 1763 the years aren't written in order
Written on the front Cover - 'Weddings in the Centre of this book from 1710 to ?
Page 58 is the the year 1741
however Page 59 is the year 1739

I'm looking at the Bishop's Transcripts on fs. The Parish Register isn't available, consequently I'm guessing that the baptism has been missed off the BT's.
Does Anc give an image of the entry?
Many thanks for the full details of the Archer/Drake marriage. Again I can find it on the BT's but it only gives the two names and the date.
