Unbeknown to my family, my late Aunty had a son, F****** O***** C*****born 31 May 1937 at 22 Berkeley Rd, Dublin. Birth Certificate.
Father’s (Thomas Curtin) address St Brendan’s Hemish? Rd, Cabra, Informant of his birth ? Rooney of 22 Berkeley Rd, Dublin. (I do have Rooney's in my family tree)
Strange thing is, I can’t find a death registration anywhere!
Any ideas?
Edited , living ?

Might not be dead?

So he was taken by the little people :) or adopted by the Rooney family maybe
all sorts of reasons try all electoral rolls :)

Mark Twain may have commented about reports of his own death too.

Death registrations go up to 1968 on Irish genealogy site at present.
RIP site commenced 2006. Although a lot of death notices are posted, not all deaths are.
The person could have emigrated to literally anywhere. Person born May 1937 would now be aged 82 years.

Could the person who posted this be of any help do you think?

So in effect you are just looking to locate FOC born 1937
Were the family back in the UK by 1939? did you locate them on the 1939 register?
This could be a good starting point
Also if you know where they were c1943 to 1951 (FOC aged 6 to 14) you may be able to find a school record especially if you can locate family members that you are sure lived past infancy.
There may also be church records for events in his lifetime.
That is assuming he lived past infancy

I'm not aware of a Hemish Road in Dublin so I think that Thomas Curtin's address was Slemish Road in Cabra.

It's belived that Thomas & Christina aka Dinah Curtin lived in Tyrone Ireland at some point
Earliest London Electoral Register:
1957 • Paddington North, England 83 Marylands Road. Christina & Dolores Curtin..no Thomas though.
My aunty Dinah lived in Hammersmith London with her second husband Charles Van Dieman until her death. Her Daughter Dolores had married and American and Emigrated to the USA where she died.

If their son born in 1937 moved to Tyrone with them and either lived on there or died there this may be the answer to a lack of information
Northern Ireland Records are not freely available on-line LINK to info (https://www.irish-genealogy-toolkit.com/Northern-Ireland-genealogy.html)

I'm convinced that the son born 1937 died in infancy, probably in Dublin where he was born. I have found several Baptisms and Birth certificates for loads of my other family relatives born in Dublin, yet not all deaths were found or recorded.
