Hi

Can anyone make out what this says. I got as far as "Chronic bronchitis" but then run into trouble.

i agree with ayashi. looks like liver to me. it could be something to do with alcoholism, but im no expert!

I think it’s written Scirrhocis (or similar) of Liver and Dropsy, and is probably meant to be Cirrhosis.

ADDED - in general, could you please post much smaller images for deciphering purposes? Reading at this size is rather difficult.

According to various sources online, a scirrhous carcinoma is a hard, slow-growing malignant tumour having a preponderance of fibrous tissue.  Still remember how sad it was seeing that on the death certificate of an ancestor, even though I knew from her diaries that she had had breast cancer.
