I think Kalasira mistakenly wrote her year of birth (1999) rather than her age, so she is 20 rather than 2000.  ;D Either that, or she is fibbing.  ;)

I did not make any inadvertent mistake when I put my year of birth as 9999 in my profile.   It was deliberate.  There were others who also did similiar.  ::)  ::)  ::)

It doesn't seem to be a mandatory field anyway - at least not when I signed up as I have just checked and mine says 00 00 0000 :-) So either it wasn't mandatory for signup or I filled it in like that.(computers aren't as smart as we think they are, as long as fields have valid characters they frequently accept whatever is in there).

Just found Trystan on the 1871 census aged a year and a half.  ;D Should ne not be redacted?  ;D ;D

:) I was joking - I realise people write whatever they want to in the age field. Kalasira hasn't been logged in to rootschat since 2012. S/he joined up in 2008. I doubt that there are many 9 year olds who signing up to rootschat.  ;D

As coombs has found Trystan on the 1871 census we know he is being truthful about his age.
