Hi I have just found who I think might be related to me as I have just found a pow card for this man and given on this card is some info which is all leading him to belong to someone in my family tree but other than this pow card from where he was captured in sinapore 
any help with this would be fab

I think that the first question must be - is this person still alive?  If not then we can perhaps proceed, but need to know his name, etc.  If he is still alive then RootsChat has a "no living person" policy.

I don't know if he would be alive or not but this is what info I got off the POW card I found

PTE Andrew Mcrobbie  reg no 2879033 2nd Gordon highlanders captured sinapore
DOB 20/10/1918 Father Andrew Mother Georgina
new byth Aberdeenshire
also mentioned on the card was uncle mr mcrobbie haromoss turriff but not sure if the spelling for address is right as it was very faint and I was struggling a bit
