Title: Date and restoration Carlo Bessolo/Bossolo
Post by: tenby tart on Friday 13 December 19 11:31 GMT (UK)
Hi all l will give you some background on this photo I've been researching my elusive Italian great grandfather Carlo Bessolo/Bossolo for the last 15 years and really haven't got very far nobody in the family know much about him. He left the family home in abt 1886 when my grand mother was 7yrs old. I found him on a passenger list sailing from Blyth to New York around that time. He was born in 1851 in Italy. My sister decided this week to take the photos out of my grandmothers album into a new album as it was falling apart and found this photo hidden beneath another photo her mother wouldn't have his name mentioned in the house so could this be him and my grandmother hid it? I would be so greatful for any help with the photo.
Regards
Lynne

I cleaned it up a bit, but that's about as much as I could do with it.
