I'm trying to find a marriage record and maiden name for James Barker's wife MARY most likely married between 1802-1804, in Ringstead or nearby town.
Here's what I know for sure:
John Barker was born 1779 to James and Ann Barker, Ringstead. John and MARY had three children, the first born about 1804. John died 1810. MARY marries Thomas Wright of Islip in 1816. On an 1841 census, Mary's age is listed as 56 making her born around 1785.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide! :) -- Jane from Kansas

Where was she in 1841, do you have her in 1851

The only marriage I can find between a James Barker and a Mary around that date is James Barker o.t.p widower and Mary Pyecraft widow o.t.p. married at Sywell C of E 30th January 1797. There is a marriage 6th June 1837 in Denford - James Barker of Islip batchelor and Mary Nichols o.t.p spinster. I don't think it would be the Sywell one.

Thank you all for your help! To answer your questions, Mary Barker (Wright) was widowed again by the 1841 census. She is living in Islip with her children. I cannot find her in an 1851 census so presume she had died by then.

With only the 1841 census to go on showing Mary born about 1785, below would appear to be the only deaths in the County near to that year, the last one after the 1851 census. Finding the right one may answer some of the earlier questions?
