Title: Gourlay/Paterson Family

Dear All

Can anyone please help me.  I am looking for information on Agnes Gourlay born 1821 in Kirkpatrick Fleming her parents are George Gourlay and Agnes Young, I don't have a death for Agnes (born 1821).  She has two children Nancy and Mary, Nancy born 27 January 1848 in Kirkpatrick Fleming and Mary born 9 October 1845 also in Kirkpatrick Fleming.  I am looking for the deaths and marriages on the children.  Both the children's Father is George Paterson.  But I cannot find a marriage for George and Agnes!

There is a marriage on SP for an Agnes Gourlay to John Carlile at Dornock, Dumfries 1857, not sure if it is right Agnes Gourlay.

Easy enough to check by viewing a copy of the marriage certificate at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

Hello All

Thank you kindly for your replies.  No the Agnes married to John Carlile is a different Agnes. 

I don't know if this is Nancy Paterson but there is one that says born Scotland, Dumphires (which I would think is Dumfries), arrived in port of Honolulu, Hawaii, (1900-1959), but I can't get into it!!!
Can anyone help. please!

I am beginning to think this family maybe in Canada!!!  But I cannot find them at a port or boat/ship!!
