Title: Green Bottom East Dean Gloucestershire
Post by: queenswood 1 on Wednesday 29 April 20 12:08 BST (UK): This is a very random question but I am trying to find out about a family living at Green Bottom between 1881 and 1921 and wondered how big Green Bottom was, what its population would have been- and if there are any specific OPC records online.
It seems that the 1911 census has some entries but I can only find these if I know the surname. I have several factors that i am trying to discount and wondered if Green Bottom is included in any OPC for Gloucestershire.
Sorry to be so vague at this stage but I am looking for a needle in a haystack and have a lot of hay to wade through!!!!

If you google “how big is green bottom in gloucestershire” some interesting photos come up. Seems to be quite a small place - classed as a hamlet on one hit

Cooper - female - 1859
Greenman - female- 1849

Leadbeater - male - 1844

All have birthplace as Green Bottom

I had a look to see which RD Green Bottom came under but it's not listed. 2 of the 5 entries give it as East Dean which is Westbury on Severn RD
