The address of my g grandfather John Magee ,publican was "Lyack (hard to read) Quarter,Carrickfergus".John married a Susan Jennings.Children were Anne(b 22 January 1877,)Patrick Joseph (b 8 March 1879),Jack,Susan,Rose and Dorathy(Dora)Can some person familier with Carrickfergus help with the address. (I found an" Irish Quarter" as well as a "Scotch Quarter")
Any information on the Magee family would be more than welcome :)

I wonder, do you have a marriage certificate or the document on which you read this word " Lyack " ? Could you upload the picture so tnat some of us may have a look and attempt to decipher this hard to read writing.
