Title: An address off High Street, Watford
Post by: Newfloridian on Wednesday 27 May 20 10:42 BST (UK)
I'm struggling with this one. Can anyone tell me the actual name of this place. It looks like "Old Ian Yard"
Does that make sense?

It was off the High Street just below the old High Street Railway Station, Watford.

Many thanks, Alan

Thank you. Have just managed to find a reproduction of a fragment of a map of Watford dated about 1850 where Old Tan Yard and Grove Place (the area of particular interest) have been marked.
