Hi I'm looking into my family tree and I was wondering if anyone knows of my grandparents Colleen Anne Alexander and James Rankin. Don't have much information at the moment if anyone can share anything that would be great. Thanks.

Is your Grandma still living? It is Rootschat policy not to discuss possibly living people.
Having said that there is information on your Grandmother in various sources.
Freebmd is a good place to start

She is on the 1939 register which would suggest she has passed away.

I am assuming that your grandparents are deceased because Rootschat does not allow posting of information of living people and if they were alive you would be asking them for the information you are wanting.
Your grandparents marriage record is on ScotlandsPeople in the Registration District of Govan in 1960. Scotlandspeople is a pay per view site and you have to sign up but you can search the indexes for free to get the information you need to order the certificate.
You can order the certificate online from their site and the information on it will allow you to move back to their parents etc.

There is a Colleen and James Rankin on the Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland, Electoral Registers, 1857-1962 in 1962 at 54 Wanlock Street Govan.

Possible birth entry for her:
Coleen A Alexander
Registration Date: 4th Qrt 1938
Registration district: Stepney/Greater London
Mother's Maiden Name: Whaley
Vol 1c/pg no 259
Looks like Colleen was a twin. She was one of two girls. Another brother born in 1937. All the births were in Stepney. We don't know if Colleen's twin may still be alive or her brother. Just check on www.freebmd.org.uk for their names.
