Can someone find an obit for Esther who died in Calgary in 1969(26 Oct?) please? She was the wife of Herbert "Bert" Kenny. I have lots of info re Herbert who later died in Blenheim, Ontario.
I think Esther was born Apr-Jun 1929 Stepney, England and mmn Frigis(?). An Esther Silverstone arrived New York 20 Apr 1953.

Thanks Sandra. That obit does not help me one little bit in trying to trace her. I thought that she may have turned up in 1939 records but can not see her.

The couple did appear on Canada Voters List in 1972/1974 - 3408 Balsam Drive South West Calgary Alberta.

There is a Philip Silverstein birth registered Mar 1899 which would tie in with 25 Dec 1898 birth shown in 1939 Hackney. Also Philip Silverstone death registered 1972 Haringey, Greater London has a dob of 25 Dec 1898.
Yetta married Charles Frigis 1918 Mile End. Charles death registered Mar 1921 and Tenata Frigis married Philip Silverstein Dec 1921 Mile End. No idea where or when Charles Frigis born. Why the name change from Yetta to Tenata? Was Yetta birth registered Jun 1899 Mile End. Would tie in with 1 Jun 1899 given in 1959 Returning Passenger info.
All this good info moot since I do not know who Esther parents where.

Sorry that I missed your post. I do not have a lot re Herbert Percy Kenny
He was born 27 Nov 1929 in Kent County, Ontario and died 25 Aug 2011 Blenheim, Ontario. His obit is in the Chatham Daily News, 27 Aug 2011. Herbert is buried in Queens Park Cemetery, Calgary, Lot 28, Block24, Section P.
