Is it likely or possible to find out cause of death, on any records, for this fellow please?

I believe this to be the 1st husband of Jane Quayle married  01 MAY 1798   Lonan, Isle Of Man - she went on to be wife of John Mercer - see  www.manxnotebook.com/methdism/people/m.htm#mercer
however I have nothing on him but there may well be a death notice in the manx press of the period - I'm next back working in Museum in about 3 weeks time.

That would be the man I am interested in. I am curious as to the cause of death at such a young age.
