I'm following Paul Pickaver on the censuses. Born in Hull in 1823, he moved around a lot but was in the Hull area by 1881, where he's down as an iron shipbuilder and tobacconist. Could some kind soul please look up the actual address, please?

He was at the same address in July 1888 according to the Hull Daily Mail, 9 July.
His wife Ann died Dec 2nd, 1906 at 90 Peel St, age 81 - Hull Daily Mail, 4 July

Many thanks, folks. He was at the same address in 1891 as a tobacconist, having dropped the "iron ship builder". In 1871 he was an iron ship builder and tobacconist in Stutton with Hazlewood near Tadcaster - which is nowhere near the sea! By 1901, when he was resident in the Charterhouse, he's down as a "retired iron plater in shipyard" which might be closer to the truth than iron ship builder.
