I have found a marriage to a couple in Keysoe Beds in the records of Familysearch,
the girls name has been recorded as Fubbey in there records, I cannot find any more
continuation of the name so I am assuming its badly writ en in the PR in the first place.
John Mayes and Elizabeth Fubbey 23 Nov 1707 Keysoe, Beds..
So if any one has access to the Bedfordshire records could they see what has been
writ en as against whats been recorded by FS...
Please..

I assume you mean Thomas Mayes?

As per Keysoe PR transcript index the FULBEY name is grouped with FALBEY, FOLBEY, FOLBIG/G/E, FOB/BIG/G/E, FOBICK, FOOBIG, FOULBECK/E & others. Similar groupings of that name are found on the nearby Bolnhurst PR. While James & Simon are sons of John & Elizabeth FULBEY, other baptisms at Keysoe around that time are children of John & Elizabeth FOLBIG, FOBICK, FOBIG, FOLBIGG, FOBIGG.
The marriage on 23 Nov 1707 is Thomas MAYS bach to Elizabeth FULBEY spinster, both of Keysoe.
These are not instantly available if you search by one name on FS or FindMyPast, I suggest you get the transcripts from the likes of Beds Family History Society.
Regards
John

Many thanks for all your help with Elizabeth F and her surname, in those day so many
variables could come into the equation that we are lucky for having any thing re our
ancestors, It does not help when Post's are not correct to start with.
Many thanks any way, its good to call on folks when a wall appears in the road
one is travelling down

A possible Elizabeth F is Elizabeth daughter of William & Elizabeth FOLBIGG baptised at Keysoe on 12 Feb 1673-74. They also baptised a daughter Jane on 25 Jan 1675-76.
William FOLBIGG married Elizabeth DAY at Keysoe on 15 Sept 1672
