Please could someone check the exact details of the marriage between Mary Ann ABLITT and William NEWSON which took place in Tuddenham, Suffolk on 21 June 1825
Very many thanks

William was noted as being a Widower. All other details you have.

That’s really helpful - does the register give ages, witnesses or the fathers’ names?
I presume that the marriage was by banns?
Many thanks, Joan

It just gives the names of the bride and groom, the date, the place and the groom's marital status.

Hi jkgla
Just as a matter of info. should it come up in later searches - it was in Tuddenham St.Martin
as against Tuddenham St.Mary.
Tuddenham St.Mary is just north of Ipswich whereas Tuddenham St.Martin is to the west of Suffolk in the Deanery of Fordham.

Hi Alan - many thanks. In all my delvings into my Suffolk family, I didn't realise this. Thank you for pointing it out.
