Hello!
I am trying to locate Margaret Davies on the 1851 & 1861 census but can't seem to locate her anywhere!?
Margaret was born about 1845 to Edward, a Labourer and wife Mary in the Cascob area.
In 1864 Margaret married James Rollings (1838-1913)
She died in Kington in 1879.
Margaret had a brother Edward who was born in 1833.
On Margaret wedding cert & Edwards baptism both are recorded as living at 'Harbour' in Cascob.
Can anyone help find Margaret in 1851 & 1861? or even the parents? as that is my main goal!
TIA

Have you found Edward with parents in 1841?
Please post full details as you have not given any birthyears for parents
How do you know Edward was her brother?

No I haven't found Edward prior to being married so as of yet I know nothing on the parents apart their names ???

So how do you know Edward was her brother?

Only from the above 2 records. Both fathers named Edward, both Labourers & both lived in Harbour, Cascob which I now believe was a house rather than an actual harbour.

Possibily.. there are 3 other births around that time? I thought if I could locate either Edward or Margaret it may possibly give other siblings? or even more information on the parents...

this could be the 1861 census for Edward born Cascob son of Edward & Mary, no Margaret in the household.

1851 for same family, no Margaret

I saw these entries earlier but the absence of Margaret would indicate it's a different family.
The 1851 occupation for Edward senior is "farmer occupying 25 acres" - christening & marriage entries show him as a labourer
