Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for relatives of Trooper Douglas Ogilvie Ross.
Service 6180 - Regiment 1/2 Scottish Horse - - Died 20/6/1917 - buried Edinburgh Newington or Echo Bank Cemetery. (discharged 23/11/1915)
The Commission are in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.

UK Register of Soldiers Effects names mother Jemima.

I'm the great grand niece of Douglas Ogilvie Ross (great grandaughter of his brother, John Francis Ross).
I'm sorry that I've only come across this now. Is there anything I can do or need to do?
