In 1953, this lady travelled to Nigeria. Her last address in the United Kingdom matches that of the 1949 electoral roll. Her country of intended permanent residence was Nigeria.

She married Evan Hughes in Nigeria according to the Welsh Gazette 30 November 1950.
The bridegroom was in the Sixth Airborne regiment

Info only, Dorothy had a twin brother, sadly died in infancy.
