It is possible for someone to be enumerated twice on a census
-
so they didnt have to be in the property x
-
The form could have been completed before the occasion, it would not have to be checked.
Where do you each family in the census
-
This is the one married to Pricilla they have three children
living Cwm Cae Churchstoke, Castlewright, Montgomeryshire, Wales
Enoch Smith Lock Head 1866 Labourer working on farm born Cleobury Mortimer Salop
This is the one married to Matilda, they have 6 children
living 318 Hurcott Road Kidderminster, Kidderminster Borough, Worcestershire
Enoch Lock Head 1870 Labourer public work born Bridgenorth Shropshire
Do you have the marriage certificates to confirm father's name?
-
Why do you think it is the same person :-X

Have you checked the 1921 census for the two families?

Are you looking at Ancestry hints, I see that they are showing both Enochs (1911) as hints against the 1901 census for Enoch and Matilda

Although it is possible to have people listed twice it's more likely to be 2 different people with the same name . They could be related .
A Enoch Locke married Priscilla Smith in 1900
Enoch and Priscilla Lock parents of Noah
ENOCH listed as hawker of no fixed abode on baptism of their son Noah in 1904 . Radnorshire Wales If that helps it could be yet another couple !
-
You can compare the signatures on the different 1911 censuses
Doesn't look like the same person to me
The one with Priscilla has smith as his own middle name .
They have had 4 children born in different towns which would fit with a hawker
1 child had diedd ( which would fit with Noah born Radnorshire 1904 ) .
What was your grandparents name ? Which family are they most likely to belong to ?
-
The Kidderminster Enoch is easier to find on censuses from 1870- 1911 his parents are Isaiah Bofi LOCK + Sarah Richards
Personally not finding other censuses for another Enoch before marriage to Priscilla.
But the trees on Ancestry seem to contain mistakes
Priscilla s maiden name may be FLORENCE but she married as SMITH

Are these the two entries on census that you first asked about, if so they are 2 different Enochs and details have been posted on this thread.

We're this family Romany ?
PRICE + LOCK are common name is in the Romany community .
Do your DNA matches have well researched trees ?
-
hi i think your right i think they are two diffrent people, its just the messages ive had on ancestery makes me second guess it x
-
If the DNA match has followed line up thru wrong people you are a match but not to the ancestors suggested by them or Ancestry thru lines recently
I had this with prices a 3rd cousinhad linked to a Romany community luckily I found the correct parebnts if his great grand mother and the grandmother I was looking at and we communicated on ancestry message when their tree was corrected the correct thru line showed up
