1911 Census ... Arthur Peck [40] Labourer was living on The Green, Histon, with his wife Martha [26] and their son Solomon James [7m].
Arthur recorded born Histon and Martha recorded born Yarmouth.
In 1908 Arthur Mansfield Peck married Martha Warrington [3B 1046].
Arthur Mansfield Peck born Q4 1869 [3B 461]. mother Peck.
I can't find Martha's details anywhere except that 1939 records her birth as 31 Jan 1886.
Can anyone shed some light on Arthur's mother and the parents of Marthas?

Not getting very far with the connection between Martha and the Whiteheads
Emma's maiden name was Tolliday, so she's not a sister of Mary Warrington (and is 20 years older)
Going back a generation, in case the relationship is great niece, Martha Warrington snr (mother of Mary) had the maiden name Gawthorp before she married Thomas Warrington. So none of small Martha's grandparents appear to be siblings of either James or Emma
-
Worked it out
Martha Gawthorp b 1824 is the daughter of Sophia/Sophy Gawthorp
Bates Tolliday married Sophia Gawthroup on 7 Nov 1830 in Histon
Emma Tolliday (later Whitehead) is the daughter of Bates and Sophia b 1833
iw they're half sisters and Emma is young Martha Warrington's (half) great aunt

Thanks for all that ... a lot to take in .
So, Mary Warrington went to Yarmouth to give birth and died at childbirth or soon after. All very sad.
I had the 1871 record of John&Ann Peck with two daughters Mary 25 and Ann 17, so wasn't sure who was the mother. Complicated times.
