I was looking at photos from the school my mother went to and found this school photo of my mother Roberta. Would it be possible for some kind person to restore and colour her and maybe put her in a frame.I would appreciate any restoration. That is the first photo I have found of her as a child. The year would be about 1932. She was born in 1919 and I thought she looked around 12 years of age. Would you agree with that age?
She was only 5 foot 2 inches as an adult.
Thanking you

Thank you japeflakes.
Black and white looks good. Very happy with that. I forgot to mention she had blue eyes and very dark hair. She left school age 14 so she may have been closer to that age on this photo.

My try.
Norma, in cropping my version I've made the dimensions 6X8.
I think your age estimate of 12 is about right. Sometimes the AI apps, in striving for greater sharpness/enhancement, can subtly alter faces, making them appear a little older (or younger) than they appear in the original.

The real problem with the AI apps is that they don't take into account the age and period of the photo. For example, in this case it's difficult to imagine young girls wearing eyeliner and lipstick, etc., especially to school, in those days.

Thanks for your lovely comment, Carol.
