Hoping someone can help.
I need to double check the parents of WILLIAM BRIGHTMORE born about 1828 in Baslow.
I have Michael Brightmore (which is correct via Williams marriage) and I have a Mary as his mother (going by census records and burial plot)
I think it was Mary Turner but I can't find a marriage for Michael Brightmore and a Mary.
I have 2 graves either side of each other.
Grave 1 has Mary with her children, Jonathan, Mary and Albert
Grave 2 has Michael with a son Michael died in infancy and a John born 1824 and died 1842.
The John I have found to be living with Michaels sister Ann (Peacock) in 1841. Unsure if Johns mother is also Mary or someone else.
Hope that made sense. Thank you

birth reg of youngest son Albert gives mmn as Turner.
Marriage 20 Dec 1826 Cathedral Church of St Peter & St Paul Sheffield
Michael Brightmore & Mary Turner both otp, both signed.

Their son John is also mentioned on Michaels gravestone which led me to believe that he was buried with Michael 🤔
Although in 1841 John is living with Michaels sister Ann in Sheffield.
Its extremely confusing lol
