I have posted this before but have found more information if someone would be able to help.
My three times great grandfather William Allen from Toulett married Ellen Collins from Carrowreagh in 1878
The marriage certifcate doesn't give the name of Williams father but the records of 1864 show there is a Paul Allen living in Toulett.
Paul Allen died in 1872, Toulett with a John Dobbins present from Carrowreagh who was listed as a householder and Paul was a saddler. The wedding certicifcate shows a Willima Dobbins was a witness to Williams wedding.
There was also an Eleanor Allen who died in 1877 and lived in Carrowreagh and William Allen - my three times great grandfather was present, lived in Toulett and was also listed as the householder

Continued
Eleanors death certicfate showed widow of sailor and have found that Paul Allen was possibly in the navy in the 1800's/10's and become a saddler. William Allen was a saddler.
Paul Allen recievied a pension between 1820 - 1840.
I have found that there was a Paul Allen who married Mary Leonard and had a daughter and son Paul and Sarah Allen born 1828 & 1833
I cant find who Williams mother is and those birth certifcates list Paul and Mary as Church of Ireland.
Would William be from COI?
Paul Allens death was also listed in the Belfast Newsletter, would there be any reason why and most likely is Paul Allen protestant? The marriage was from the Catholic records for William Allen and what does the householder mean if John Dobbins was present and William?

Have you found the civil record of William and Ellen?

The only information I know about William is that he is listed as RC
Can't find his birth certificate and I'm not sure if Eleanor is his mother
