Hi. Hit a huge brick wall.
Can anyone assist me with the 1922 UK Census.
I have an advert for a General Carrier and Remover dated 1922. The name on this advert is Morris Black and the address is 391 Waterloo Road, Cheetham Hill, Manchester
Anyone have details of this company and Morris Black?
If someone has access to the 1922 Census, I would really appreciate knowing all residents at this address, with ages and place of birth.
Thank you
Annie

Sorry, We are not allowed to do 1921 census look ups.
Have you tried doing a free search using that address

Hi
There is no 1922 census - it's 1921 & only available on a pay per view or subscription basis on FindMyPast
The type of info you are requesting would be breaching copyright rules
How does the firm/owner link to your FH?

If you live in England, then perhaps contact your local library - lots of them have free access to FindMyPast!
PLUS:
He is there ;)

Hi. Thank you for replying. Yes I have exhausted my avenues. Full membership of Ancestry but no membership Find My Past (they have access to 1921 Census).
I live abroad, therefore i cannot access the local Libraries etc.

1921 is available pay-per-view.

A 1926 motor advertisement has Harry L Black at that address.

The Manchester Evening News, 13 Sep 1926, carries a legal notice of a Morris Black, 4 Julia Street, Strangeways applying for naturalization.
Julia Street comes up as "Julia Street, Cheetham Hill" on Google maps
