Hi
I am trying to find the marriage of David Pearce born 1815 Haslingfield, Parents John Pearce and Susanna Hinds.
I have found David and Jane on the 1941 census so they were married before that date.
I have just got back into doing my family tree and for some reason I have Jane Hinds down for the wife of David but I don't have a clue why I put that? I have no records to back it up.
I would appreciate any help
Thanks

Have you already looked on www.familysearch.org. for the marriage?
Were any children born after 1837? If their births were registered you can check Janes maiden name using GRO online

Hi Carole
Yes they had four children dating from 1842-1848 (from census records)
I will take a look at what you have suggested.
Thanks

Thank you everyone (David Pearce is my 3x Great grandfather).
Buttress it is then.
I still have no idea why I put Hinds for Jane's Maiden name. ::)
CaroleW, I looked on that site you suggested, It turns out they had ten children in total. I'm assuming they may have lost some of the children because they don't appear on the census records I will have to investigate.
Thank you.
