Title: Slough Observer Newspaper Archive
Post by: R.Hammans on Thursday 18 January 24 17:57 GMT (UK)
Can anyone please suggest where I might be able to view an online copy or order a hard copy of the June 1st 1984 edition of what was just called 'The Observer' back then but I believe is now The Slough Observer? I've had no luck finding a means to access it.

I have a poor photocopy of an article on Tom Brown Tailors of Eton from that issue but the photographs are too dark to be visible and it's one of those I need.

Have you contacted the newspaper itself?  There is a 'contact' button on that page.

I did try scrolling back to the appropriate date but it didn't find the article  :(

Have you contacted the County Library?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll try contacting the newspaper or library directly as the Slough Library online search is a bit clunky and doesn't return any meaningful results.

Have you tried contacting the shop directly: https://tombrowntailors.com/History
They have a few pictures on their website, but they may have more elsewhere.
