Welcome to RootsChat!
Did you mean 1888? There is a baptism for a William Joseph Wade, son of John and Isabella Wade, born on 4th November 1888 and baptised on 4 December 1888 in West Hartlepool.
On 1st February 1913, a William Joseph Wade, soldier, aged 24, residence given as Tidworth, married a Charlotte Florence Emma Holloway in Swindon, Wiltshire. His father was given as John Wade, contractor. In 1921, it appears he was lodging at the Soldrey & Sailor Home in Dorset. He is listed as married, but his wife is not present. It appears they had 2 children together: a girl in 1914 and a boy in 1915. On the 1939 register, Charlotte states that she is a widow, and I cannot find a William Wade of the right birth date on the register, but I can't really offer an obvious death registration, especially as the earlier indexes do not provide a birth date.
Queenie :)
EDIT - He was at the Aliwal Military Barracks in Tidworth, not 'Tidmouth'.
