Title: John Palmer 1600
Post by: Lensmeister on Wednesday 20 March 24 19:58 GMT (UK)
Evening all,

I've been looking for John Palmer in Great Yarmouth c.1600.
I found this on FamilySearch.
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J3XT-9GS

Scrolling though the records I've got to 1600 and July.
Firstly it says the 2nd
And I cannot make out whether John is listed.
May just be my tired eyes.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thanks.

It's strange that the date is missing.
The rest of the entries have teh dates on the right of the name in the rest of the book.

Thanks again. My eyes were tired.

FreeREG has transcribed the bapt as * July 1600

You may have this?

Marriage;
03 Sep 1591 St Nicholas
Alyce WYLLYAMS
Thomas PALMER

Other siblings bapts;
EDWARD 16 Jan 1591/92
ALYCE 01 Mar 1593/94
MARTHA 31 Oct 1596
JOHN 1600 as noted

Then it gets a bit more complicated as;
Alles THORNETON
Thomas PALMER marry * Sep 1601

So these children may belong to either couple
THOMAS 05 May 1602
JOHN 04 Jul 1604
MARGRET 02 Dec 1604
MARKE 26 Nov 1606
NICCOLLAS (Paulmer) 23 Aug 1607
LYDDA (Pallmer) 30 Jan 1610/11

I only checked up to 1615

There is a ALICE Palmer buried 12 Nov 1639, Widow
+ THOMAS Palmer 16 Mar 1619/20, Butcher
Cant confirm which couple

Trish :)
