Elizabeth Wilgar nee Johnston/Johnson died at the residence of her cousin, 22 Ela Street, Belfast on Apr 18, 1946 as per her death notice. How can I find out who was living at 22 Ela Street in 1946?

1947: 22. McDowell, Mrs. Elizabeth (McDonnell, Mrs. Elizabeth in 1943)

Thank you, gaffy. That should keep me busy for a while, trying to figure out how Elizabeth Wilgar is related to Elizabeth McDonnell.

Belfast Telegraph, 24 August 1942: McDowell - August 23, 1942, at Hospital, SAMUEL, dearly-beloved husband of ELIZABETH McDOWELL. Funeral from his late residence, 22 EIA Street ... (etc. etc. - the burial was at Carnmoney).

Gaffy, you are wonderful. Samuel McDowell married Elizabeth Johnston in 1936, daughter of Joseph Johnston and Annie Moore. Elizabeth Wilgar was the daughter of David Johnston and Sarah Moore. Annie and Sarah were siblings but I have never been able to figure out if/how David and Joseph Johnston were related, other than marrying Moore siblings. David was baptised july 12, 1820 at Magherafelt COI, father John, no mother mentioned. Joseph was born abt 1862 in Co. Tyrone, parents Andrew Johnston and Agnes/Nancy Wallace. Andrew born bef 1839 as he was of full age when he married Nancy in 1860.
David died Dec 22, 1892 at Garden Street, Magherafelt. Pretty sure his father John died Dec 25, 1878 at Garden Street, Magherafelt but I didn't find a death notice for either.
Elizabeth McDowell nee Johnston died Aug 3, 1975, formerly of 22 Eia Street. I was having a difficutl time finding Elizabeth McDonnell.

When Samuel McDowell married Eliza Johnston in 1936, he was a widower. his occupation was blacksmith and his father was David. As far as I can determine, his first wife was Mary McConnell whom he married about 1904, and she died Feb 9, 1919 at 76 Oldpark Avenue, in Belfast, age 43.
They are on the 1911 census.
