Capt. Robert Seabrook of Colleton County, South Carolina was a prominent English merchant and Member of the state assembly. (He was also fined for selling arms to "pirates").
In his early life he lived in Dunstable, Bedfordshire - can anyone confirm exactly where his family lived ?
Thanks for any help.

The South Carolina historical and genealogical magazine has the research done by ML Webber.
Apparently it's the will of his son John that mentions Dunstable Bedfordshire

There's a Robert Seabrooke (and other Seabrookes), a nephew, mentioned in the will of Richard Conley of Dunstable, 1680

At the link provided by Vance Mead, if you scroll to the bottom there is a list of names: click on Robert Seabrooke and a few other relevant documents are listed.

If the Rob. Seabrooke of Tring, Herts. ymn. in 1695 is the same person as in 1680 (not certain), then he can't be the same as in South Carolina. There were many Seabrookes in this area of Beds, Bucks and Herts.
Here is a will of Robert Seabrooke, yeoman of Tring, 1660. I haven't checked this, possibly the father of the the one in 1695.

Edit
From the will:
Thomas Seabrook, second son
Son Robert
Wife Anne Seabrooke
Son Robert Seabrooke sole executor
Some related wills at Tring, from Herts Names Online:
Robert Seabrooke 1667 Tring Wilstone yeoman filed will inventory 119HW46
Robert Seabrooke 1667 Tring Wilstone yeoman registered will 5HR68
Thomas Seabrooke 1670 Tring Wilstone yeoman filed will bond inventory 119HW66
These are at Hertford.
The two Roberts are probably the same. These are probably the sons mentioned by Robert in 1660.
