Looking for the birth of Alice Edwards
She shows in the 1911 census, living in Tettenhall, Staffordshire with Thomas Edwards, Daniel Edwards, and Margaret Edwards. She is 12, which would put an estimated birthdate of around 1899. It also says she was born in Tettenhall

Alice is not shown in the 1901 census for Thomas, who is living at the same place as in 1911

Thomas Edwards and his wife Sarah nee Pulley had 9 children that I found, have you checked who the sons married, or perhaps one of the older daughters had a child?

Daniel did not marry and died 1954.
Margaret married Henry Farrington 1923 shown as widowed and living with Daniel 1939.

Wolverhampton was the RD for Tettenhall & freebmd shows only one birth in that RD for Alice Edwards in March qtr 1899

There is a Thomas EDWARDS 35, bricklayers labourer and his wife Lucy in Tettenhall in 1901 with a daughter Alice, 3. A possibility - as amondg has the eldest son Thomas born 1866.

Interestingly, it appears the other child on the 1901 census - Marion EDWARDS born c 1895, Worcester - is not with parents in 1911 - if this is the correct Marion. At the home of Martha EDWARDS 41, born Culmington, Salop ("neice") in Tettenhall.

In 1939 this Alice is with the Thomas who is the subject of the other thread, living in Tettenhall.

Lucy Anne Follows age 54.6 born Stafford is at an address in York in 1921 and then is living with a Daisy Follows in Uttoxeter in 1939. Nursing is mentioned in both records, and she is single in both cases.

In a funeral,announcement, she is noted as the daughter of the late Alderman Follows
Maybe we have the wrong Lucy.

Personally I think it would be a good idea for the OP to consolidate the information in the two threads and decide what is left to be discovered, although it does seem that the fate of the correct Lucy Ann Follows, who married Thomas Edwards – and was the mother of Alice Edwards – has not been determined.
