Post by: RobinsonUSA on Tuesday 11 February 25 22:01 GMT (UK)
Hello, I am looking for any information on Hamilton Robinson and Elizabeth Jane Robinson and their family who were married in 1886 at Cookstown/Tyrone. I am one of the descendants of Hamilton Robinson, their son. Ken

Hamilton Robinson and Elizabeth Jane Robinson and their family who were married in 1886 at Cookstown/Tyrone.

Please note, the marriage was 1881 ( not 1886)

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions and links.

I have been now been able to trace Hamilton Robinson to his father Hugh Robinson and then to his father David Robinson from the marriage certificates.  A question for the forum.

How do you trace documents and history before 1800?  I am thinking of David Robinson who was probably born before 1800 in Tyrone area most likely?

Cheers, Kenneth Hamilton Robinson.
