Hi I am wondering if anyone could tell me what the text says particular in column 6, I assume that this is cause of death
-
I can read something about a trip to (or from) Rio de Janeiro, but it's difficult to read it all.
Do you have a link to this register?
-
It says: fell overboard on his trip from Rio de Janeiro.
The rest is probably the name of the ship and some more information.
If you have a link, please post it.

I hope this works:

The link is ok, but I'm still none the wiser.
I hope that jamcat can read more of this.

Hi Zefiro,
You are correct so far but I too cannot read the rest. I'll give it a go and get back.

I hope you don't think I am being cheeky, could you help me out with the translation of the column on this one, its census from 1875 for Rasmus Rasmussen Olsen, row 16 onwards and in particular column after their names.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Can you provide a link to this page? This is too small and not sharp enough to give you the answers you want.

I hope this works:

Hi
The column after Rasmus name states that he lives on the first floor...... "1a Etage".
Ian
-
The next columns states that he is the son, unmarried, born 1862 and from Stavanger.

Thank you so much that's really helpful.
Are you able to see what is in the columns for willhemine, row 1 under row 20?
-
She is recorded there because she was not present at the time of the census. I'm having problems deciphering what is written in the other columns. Perhaps Zefiro can help out.

I can't read it all...
Wilhelmine: born 1855 Stavanger
daughter of Lille Rasmussen (n°15), unmarried
column 4: place where she's living, but I can't decipher it
column 9: her profession, but I can't make head nor tail of it;
I read legger ikke har tjent, but this can't be right.
I've made a bigger screenshot of this entry. Hopefully someone can guess the right words.

Thank you so much for giving it a try :)
