Title: John Bird
Post by: heathera1940 on Saturday 08 March 25 09:20 GMT (UK)
Good morning all,
I am trying to trace the ancestors of my late son in law. I am particularly interested in John Bird who married Mary Stephenson in 1831 in Durham. He died in 1837 and Mary re-married George Sparked in 1839,. I cannot find any information about John prior to his marriage.
Any help greatly appreciated
. Thanks in anticipation
Heather

3 Sons;
Bapts;
THOMAS 26 Jun 1832 1st Son
GEORGE 26 Jun 1834 2nd Son
JOHN 28 Jan 1837 3rd Son

I also see a Thomas Bird/Isabella Stephenson  bapt a child Mary same church 1 July 1834
Abode Spring Gardens.
They also had a Joseph 3 Jan 1837 who appears to have died and buried 10 Jan 1837.

A JOHN Bird was a witness to their Marriage 02 Dec 1833 + a Ann Stephenson

Isabella was buried 03 Jan 1837 age 21.

Posting this if can find Thomas on Census he may have his pob and maybe not Durham.

Seems a coincidence they both married Stephenson girls.
