Hi all, I'm just wondering if anyone who any resources where I could find pictures of a G G Grandad and uncle who served and fell in ww1. I've exhausted the likes of ancestory etc would Regiment museums etc hold pictures?

Regimental Museums may have pictures of your relatives, but they won't necessarily be named or indexed online, so ideally you would need to know which battalion, or better still, which company your GG Grandfather and Uncle served in, and hope that there are some group photos.
Since both men died during the war, they may well have had brief obituaries perhaps accompanied by photos, in the local newspaper(s). Another place to look is in Rolls of Honour in local churches or community centres, places of work etc, although these are less likely to have photos.
Of course the most likely place to find such photos is within the family, as many men had portraits done before leaving for the war, to give to parents, siblings or wives. But I assume that you have already explored this avenue of research.

I agree with most of what Andy Suggests for Photos
But from my Experience I've seen most of the Men gave their Wage Packet to their Mother or Father for the weekly costs the Famjly had and few had money available to Waste on Photographs
I disagree that Most Boys had Portrait Photos taken to give their Parents
If there is No Obituary with Photograph in the Newspaper after his Death notification received by the Parents
Its Rather evidence of the Family's wealth at that period.
And if his Photograph was not passed down in your Family possessions isn't that a clue.

Photos are hard to come by but one source are the public school school's archives. A lot of public schools published roles of the fallen including photos after the war.
