There is a tree on ancestry has her father as James Clabby and who's WW1 service record records him as James Tully alias James Clabby which may be the reason I can't find a birth record on ScotlandsPeople for a Nora Clabby born 1906. There is a birth registration for a Norah Tully but it is 1904 Dennistoun.
The tree says Nora's mother is a Mary Ann McCrae. This information is on Nora's marriage record to Grose.

As SS says: check the thread below before researching her back story; this thread is concerned with her history after moving to Canada.

from the other thread, 1st post
I do have a Nora Barbara Clabbie her parents were Douglas H Clabbie and Mary Hogg both deceased. She was married 1955.
It seems that Nora Grose had returned to Scotland in 1955 for the wedding of her niece and namesake.

156 Dundee Street (Fountainbridge)
Here is a map view from the 1:1250 OS map ~1948, with an underlay of a modern map: move the slider at the bottom left to reveal the modern map. The buildings are numbered, so you can see where no. 156 was.
Much of the N side of Dundee Street has been redeveloped, with this stretch being occupied by a modern office building called OneSixty.
