Hi, I'm researching Horners in the Coxwold/Huby/Byland Abbey area.
I have Matthew Horner 1844 of Coxwold, son of Henry Horner and Ann Maynard.
Henry Horner I believe was born 1800, Shipton, Yorkshire and died 1869. He married Ann Maynard in 1826 in Kilburn.
Any extra information on them greatly received!

Hi Sedgie
Several of us have Kemp family in Kilburn in census and parish registers. Kemps marry Horner and Horsman's in Kilburn. Use Hugh Wallis Batch Numbers by google search select England Yorkshire Kilburn I thnik you may find George Horner in there. I have a Kemp doc of about 100 pages that may help and it has some databases in it. email me direct if u want a copy.
Alternativley register on Genes Reunited try Kemp or Horner search, you'll find us in there. I also have hard copy of parish regs for Kilburn.

Thanks Gareth,
Since my 2005 post I have found a bit more on my Horners.
Henry and Ann Maynard were in the Kilburn area in the 1820s, but he was born Shipton/Overton just to the north west of York, his father and grandfather coming from Spennithorne near Leyburn in the early 1740. Grandparents Anthony Horner and Elizabeth Rider who married 1761. They had their children in Spennithorne. So if anyone recognises them at all let me know!!
Thanks again
Sedgie
