Hi doedoe,
Since Edinburgh Parish covers a lot of parishes, you would probably have to have an address for your search in order to find the local church ie; Canongate, St Giles, Tron, or St Georges to name a few.
I've already had this prob myself, but I live in Edinburgh so it was easy(ish) lol once you know how ;D
If I can help any further let me know.
Susan.

Does it say edinburgh Parish on the iIGI? I had one like that & read the film at my local FHC.Turned out to be Greyfriars Parish. This ws 1789 so maybe yours being later would be a specific parish but my understanding is that it covers what is now St.Giles area.
