Could SKS please help me to find the birth record of George IBLE - born c.1818 - 1820 in Upton Bishop. His father's name was Thomas.

Looked at the Upton Bishop registers today and found the baptism of George IBLE, March 12, 1820, son of Thomas and Mary IBLE of Upton Bishop. Thomas was a Labourer.
There was an earlier baptism of a James IBLE on 14th October 1815 to the same parents.

James was born abt. 1804 in Upton Bishop married a Pheobe abt. 1822

Hi Mable,
I have come across this James and Phoebe before but I can't seem to fit them into my line at the moment. I'm quite sure that all the people from Upton Bishop and surrounding areas with variant spellings of IBLE / IBELL / HIBLE etc are all connected, it's just a matter of sorting out who belongs in which line.
Sorry I can't help with James and Phoebe. Do you have an interest in any other IBELL / IBLEs in the area?

Have you seen the ancestral file on the LDS website?
If you look on http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp and search for Philip IBLE you will find an ancestral file with many IBLEs. Although these are submitted, and therefore unverified, data it at least gives something to go on.
I suspect you've probably seen this before but hope it helps.

ann bapt 12th may 1801 to john and elizabeth
there are earlier baptisms for upton bishop on the bivri just ask if you would like them

there are no baptisms for this couple in upton bishop however there are these baptisms for children of richard ibel and mary in ullingswick which would correspond with the date of marriage-

james richard ibel bapt 26th feb 1853 ullingswick.parents william ibel and hannah.there is also a daugter fanny for this couple bapt 25th feb 1855 ullingswick.there is a death record for a fanny ibell march qtr of 1855 ross district also a death for a hannah ibell listed same qtr as fanny .

Richard's Baptism was 9th October 1785 Much Marcle Herefordshire.. They Married on the 27th November at Upton Bishop. To my knowledge they had 7 children.
