Hi, my mum and her family lived in Dovey cottage in Borth from the late 1890's until my great grandmothers death in 1966.
-
Dudley Cottage was between 1 & 2 High St and was about 6 buildings away from Friendship Inn which would I guess be around 7 or 8 High Street.

Further to my last the 1901 Census in High Street is as follows with head of household name and age............

2, 3, 4, unoccupied
Bryngwy & Everton House, Annie Jenkins, 38
Bodfor House, Wm David Jones, 45
Friendship Inn, David Hughes, 77
Cambrian Villa, John Lewis, 64
etc, etc, etc

@Scottra,if your family live in this cottage till 1966 ,you must be related to my SIL,would be nice if you could verify this
