I have also found children of the above couple plus the one that might be the Mary you mention

My Gran's mother's maiden name was Chisholm, Margaret Belle Chisholm and she was (as far as we know) from the Galashiels area.  May be a distant relation to your Agnes?   ???  :)
She married Edward Taylor of Galashiels.
I'm just starting my family tree, so it'd be interesting to find out where the Chisholms came from.   :)

Hi Delphinum i am not sure if this Agnes Chisholm is the one i am looking for at all i did notice there are a lot of Chisholm  :D& Taylor Families in Selkirk so Good Luck with your research Harriet
