Hi mallow
I'd be tempted to contact the CWGC direct with your enquiry, I've heard that they are most helpful. I should also try to persue his death certificate, which should give you more info, and do let us know how you get on.

hiya mallow,he probably either died of wounds received during the war or died of sickness, many soldiers died of their wounds years later, many more died in the flu epidemic that went on till the early 1920s,mack

Thanks Mack Would they still get the Tombstone that was given to Soldiers that died in the War? there is an Army Tombstone on his grave, so just wondering, it just gives Date of death no place name. :)
