Hi
I am looking for the Allen/Allin surname. They were actually living in England by 1851. One of the births says Connaught, Roscommon, is this right?
Thanks

Crannagh is a townland in Roscommon. You can see the way it is written, does it look like Connaught or Crannagh on the records?

Connaught refers to one of the 4 provences in Ireland.
Ulster - North
Munster - South
Leinster - East
Connaught - West
Roscommon is in Connaught.
