Hi There,
I was wondering if anyone could check on 1841 census to see if there are any Aslett's about?
the family I'm looking for are:
Head: Charles/James Aslett from Kent/Surrey DOB 1811/12
Wife: Margaret from Shap DOB 1815
There may of been children of the marriage living at home then although most were born after 1841,

I have checked the whole of the 1841 census for westmorland and not one aslett in the area

Thanks for trying !!  They are proving very elusive! They did move to Dawden, Seaham, County Durham and were living there in 1851, so they may of already gone in 1841.

Could this be Charles in 41
Red Lion Lane Farnham Surrey
Sarah Aslett 60 not born in county
CHARLES 20 coachman born in county
James 15 ostler born in county

Just checked IGI and dont think hes the right one.
