What about names like:
James JAMES, or William WILLIAMS,
Edward EDWARDS, or Harry HARRIS etc.
-
Then there was Brixton's own Edward EDWARDS, the Bexley bricklayer.
But, then there was Edward EDWARDS, the Flintshire coalminer of Hope.
But, let's not forget about Staffordshire's own Edward EDWARDS
, the Cheshire baker

I have a few Donald Macdonalds.

I have a Richard Richards. Often wondered what his parents were thinking ;D

I have a few Donald Macdonalds.
Was his nickname "Big Mac" or "double trouble"? ;D
-
Dont laugh, I have even found a Ronald Macdonald in my tree.

Was that a hamburger tree? ;D
Was he just a "Chip" off of the Big Mac tree? :-X

Your not alone!
What about the Penzance jeweller Richard Richards
or the Hartlepool iron moulder, or the Staffordshire coach painter.
Once upon a time a Century or so ago, a lad named
Richard RICHARDS would travel from the confines of his home in Kent to travel to St. Mary le Bow to earn a bob or two
as a porter.

GEORGE GEORGE - Faces & Places
George George is not George II, but there are many
in different places.
There was the Somerset "hurdle maker"
and George George the Islington brass trimmer.
All George George connections wanted, the entry fee is
the years, places and occupations be it Dr. George George or
private George George, but let's not forget about
Georgette George, be she a matchstick girl, teacher or
nurse.

PHILIP PHILLIPS
Be it England, Wales or Mohawk country in New York & Canada there will be a few references to Philip PHILLIPS.
In a piece That I did for a PHILLIPS Family site,
I had made a few references to Philip PHILLIPS
such as Philip PHILLIPS, the irinmonger of St Pancras
and Birmingham's own Philip Morgan PHILLIPS
and his marriage in 1838

8) Then we have the likes of John JOHNSON, Jack JACKSON
and Isaac ISAACSON.
You may find Isaac working with boots or tailoring in such
places as Spitalfields or Mile End.
Or, John JOHNSON - the occupations & places run the gamut
from the Hackney blacksmith to the Twickenham
perfume traveller.
I wonder if Twickenham's Johnson and his perfume bottles ever travelled north and met up with the likes of the Cumberland fishmonger, John Johnson, or Scotland's
Sgt. Jack Jackson.

Got a Robert Roberts and a few William Williams. ;D

How about this one
My Paternal Grandmother was Mary Williams and her mother was Catherine Thomas, daughter of William Thomas b 1841
My Paternal Grandfather was Hughie Thomas, son of William Richard Thomas. His father was William Thomas b 1817.
Both William Thomas 1817 and William Thomas 1841 were from the same area of Anglesey and both their fathers were also William Thomas! The family names on both sides are William, Hugh, Elizabeth, Margaret and Jane.
Catherine Thomas married John Williams and her brother John married Mary, the sister of John Williams.
So try sorting that one out if you mix your census forms up! :-\ :-\ :-\
My mother, jokingly, tells my father he is from a family married into each other. Not very amusing for him nor for anyone around them when she says it lol

This is a common practice in Darwen Lancashire
I found one of my relatives living at the abode
of Eccles Eccles (no relatation that I know of)
but I did take note because at the time I did not realise how common this was in Darwen!
