Hi I am looking for any information for my Grt Grandfather and family, his name was George Channon Barratt he was born in Worthen in 1855, he had a sister Elizabeth who had an illigitimate daughter Amy Louisa Barratt residence at time of her birth was Bat Holes Worthen, George and Elizabeth's mother and father were William and Thomasine originally from Tavistock Devon.
They eventually moved to Wigan Lancashire but I don't know in which year.
If anyone can help me with this I would be very grateful.

Wow thanks ever so much, I had found them in the 1881 Census and 1901 Census but had never been able to find any information on them in 1861 and 1871 so the jig saw is starting to be put together, I am so grateful to you, Thanks Judith. :)

Hi
Dont know if you can help again, but I believe that a Louisa Channon Barratt that got married in Atcham in 1872 might be George Channon Barratts sister, can you see any sign of her on the 1871 Census? Thanks again Judith

Hi
Sorry I cannot see her, maybe you could put out a request for the 1861 and see if she appears on that with the family

Done....
The thing that does puzzle me is that on the 1881 Census Elizabeth is daughter 30 on the 1871 Census Elizabeth is grandaughter aged 4, I know that Amy the other Grandaughter was Elizabeths illigitemate daughter but this is the first time I have come across another Elizabeth.
Something else to be solved, but did't think I would ever get this far!
Thanks again Judith
