Title: William DAVIES born Llangeler/ Jane DAVIES born TALLEY
Post by: sunnybower on Monday 20 February 06 15:01 GMT (UK)
Can anyone tell me if there are Chapel records available for Talley (Talyllychau)or Llangeler for baptisms for 1819 and 1821??

I have a gg grandfather William DAVIES born Llangeler c1819 and his later wife Jane DAVIES (nee Davies) born Talley c1821. I know both fathers were called Thomas but nothing else.

Prior to their later marriage in Glam in 1842 I cannot find them anywhere.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Two chapels in Talley parish

Esgairnant, approx a mile out of the village, records at National Library of Wales

Providence Chapel, approx three miles form the village in Cwmdu

Excellent records for Talley Church at Carmarthen Archives
