Hi Folks
I've been trying to trace what happened to the children of George & Maria Tegg of Bucklebury and would be really grateful for a bit of help :)
FreeBMD has a marriage of Eliza Tegg and Thomas Jerome Dec 1848 and the 1851 census has them living in Streatley. It's the right age for my Eliza, but if someone could get to the parish records for Bucklebury, Stanford Dingley or Streatley and could check the parents, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks for taking the trouble to read this
Best wishes
Angela

Hi Newbie
Thanks for that - there's absolutely no rush as this branch of the family has eluded me for years. They won't mind hiding for a bit longer ;D
If anyone else is going to the BRO, it would save you being put on (again) though ........ ::)
Thanks again

Did you notice, you've got a Wood Carver, a Piano Maker, and an Artilleryman, bit different from the usual Ag.Lab! ;D
-
WOW! Newbie - you have been busy ;D
Thank you so much for all that - I'll need to do a bit more ferretting to see where they all fit in......
One of them is definitely one of my missing ones, so that's particularly good. Strange about no Eliza though, but then that's pretty typical of this family - elusive isn't a good enough word for them!
That nice mix of occupations is fairly good evidence that they aren't my lot (who seem to resolutely cling to the bottom of the social ladder), but fingers crossed ;D
I do hope you managed to do something else at the BRO and my awkward customers didn't take all day.....
Thanks again
Angela :)
